Sunfall Huh?
We formed Sunfall Festival almost ten years ago. Amy was just a teen, but her voice and lyrics had maturity beyond her years (she’d been writing songs and holding secret concerts in her closet since she was six).
A few years ago half a million GarageBand.com users voted us to No. 1 of 30,000 bands – telling us our music appealed to a wider audience than we imagined. Like many sad Rock tales go, the GarageBand label folded, we never saw a penny of the $250,000 advance and ended up recording the album on our own dime with producer Paul Fox (Bjork, 10,000 Maniacs, XTC, Phish).
Doing it on our own ended up being the best path for us. We aren’t slaves to the industry, and get to share our music online, worldwide, while living our lives they way we want.

I have to say Sunfall Festival is really growing on me, which is kinda strange. As I mostly listen to and play punk/emo music... But When you hear songwriting of this caliber, you can't deny their greatness. I just wish that they could come to vancouver B.C. so I could see them!!!! Your music is wonderful, i have really enjoyed the CD. I have it in my CD player at home, and one of my daughters comes into the room and is like lala...lala..lala. She had only heard the song once and already picked up on how wonderful it is.
Sunfall is smooth like the Sundays, but coarse and at times enigmatic a la Throwing Muses. They could be called a more dynamic Boo Radleys, but with the Sugarcubes' energy. Sunfall Festival lures you in, hook after hook, then unloads an intense emotional burst that leaves any listener wide eyed.
